Hijab in the Wind #1 Spiral Notebook — Colorful Abstract Waves Dotted Journal

"This work is based on a two part series of paintings dedicated to hijab. The scarves are flowing in the wind on a sea of blues, gold, and teals." It is also based on my sorta abstract interpretation of tessellation found in various forms of geometric and Islamic art.

The glossy laminated cover showcases an energetic, hand-drawn pattern of overlapping, scarf-like shapes in teal, gold, navy and warm ochre — it invites you to slow down and write. Inside, 150 lined pages of smooth 90gsm paper take ink without bleed, and the sturdy metal spiral lets you fold the book back or remove pages cleanly when a page becomes a finished thought. The cover print continues across front, back and inside for a cohesive look that ages well on a desk or tucked into a tote. Care instructions
